Bioscience Educators' Network (BEN), Bioscience Awarding Gap (BAG) and Early Career Lecturers' (ECL) are coming together to offer this one-day interactive workshop for bioscience colleagues
The three HUBS supported networks: Bioscience Educators' Network (BEN), Bioscience Awarding Gap (BAG) and Early Career Lecturers' (ECL) are coming together to offer this one-day interactive workshop for bioscience colleagues at all stages of their career to reflect on their personal progression goals, consider opportunities for collaborative learning and teaching research and to seek inspiration from the wider bioscience network that we have available to us.
The one-day event will start with registration from 9.30 and will begin with a series of short keynote talks to set the scene. There will then be an opportunity for reflection and consideration of personal goals followed by a series of breakout sessions informed by the needs of the delegates. A networking lunch will provide an informal opportunity for colleagues to identify common interests and identify new collaborators. The afternoon will begin with a repeat of the breakout sessions to allow attendees to contribute to more than one discussion. The day will end at 15:00 after a goal-setting session and confirmation of outputs so that everyone can take something away with them.
Once registered you will be asked to complete a virtual delegate list in which you can identify your career stage, personal goals and what you would like to get out of the workshop.
